How Women on Boards Navigate the “Warmth-Competence” Line

Initially, I was taken aback by the title of this article "Warmth-Competence Line", but I gave it a read and I am happy I did. It's always a treat to hear the firsthand experiences of women on corporate boards and in leadership positions in general. This articles dives into some of the ugly but raw truths of how women navigate these positions and their tactics in doing so. On a positive note, there are signs of progress for women in this area. 

The road to gender parity on corporate boards has been a long one, but there are signs of progress. In 2022, for instance, 45% of new Fortune 500 board appointees were women and the percentage of women on these boards had risen to almost 30%.
